For the "Comic Contest" going on at this comic store nearby the college... About 9 to 10 hours overall (6 to sketch, 4 to color and blend). Used a sharpie extra fine point marker for the lines and colored pencils for everything else.
A short note: Doubt I'll win, but I enjoyed the process nonetheless. Came out, for the most part, how I pictured in my head. I am pretty pleased with it.
Cool! I like the style that this piece is done in. It some how looks dreamy, As if the viewer had snuck into her bedroom late at night and was going to fullfill some fantasy or something. Good Job.

Thank you and I like how you explained the viewpoint. It describes the scene in a way I never thought of. That was the main idea though, just seeing her getting ready for a night of crime in her rundown bedroom. I wanted to portray that eerie night feeling. In a photoshoped version, it would probably be darker and more twisted looking. One feature I wanted to add was moonlight on the bed, creeping through the blinds from her window, but it didn't work in this piece. I actually have her whole apartment set up.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
